We’re thrilled to introduce Yasmin, a new teacher at Elev8 for Summer 2025! With a professional background in software development, a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, and a deep passion for education, Yasmin brings a unique blend of tech expertise, mathematical precision, and creativity to our programming and maths lessons.

Science Meets Software: A Multidisciplinary Mindset
Yasmin’s journey began in London, where she studied Forensic Science at university before going on to complete a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence. From there, she transitioned into the world of software development, working in London’s tech scene and honing her skills in Python, systems logic, and real-world problem solving.
But Yasmin’s journey isn’t just about writing code, it’s about making complex ideas simple, fun, and empowering for kids. Whether she's guiding students through Scratch, Python, or algebra, she brings a consistent focus on confidence-building and playful exploration.
“I love using real-life analogies and colourful, interactive visuals to explain things. It’s not just about code or sums, it’s about building confidence and curiosity.”
What makes Yasmin truly stand out is her creative spirit. Outside of teaching, she’s a dedicated photographer, fashion lover, and urban explorer, always on the lookout for new cafés, hidden temples, and off-the-beaten-path inspiration around Tokyo.
Her lessons reflect this balance of technical rigour and artistic play. Students learn not just how to code, but how to express themselves and collaborate with others in meaningful ways.
What Will Yasmin Be Doing at Elev8?
This summer, Yasmin will be leading our programming and maths classes, offering kids a chance to explore language and logic side-by-side. Her sessions are hands-on, supportive, and fun, tailored to each student’s level and learning style.
She’s especially passionate about helping girls get into STEM, creating a space where every child feels seen and supported.
“I know how difficult subjects like coding or maths can feel. But when kids realise they can figure things out for themselves... it’s magical to see!”
As Elev8 gears up for a packed summer, Yasmin is already preparing exciting activities, challenges, and creative twists to bring each module to life.
